ORGANIC FERTILIZER

We take our biochar and supercharge it! Regular biochar is like a sponge, with lots of pores to hold things, but supercharged biochar is like a sponge that’s already been soaked in a nutrient-rich solution. We then mix our biochar with nutrient-rich compost and other ingredients. The biochar’s porous structure allows it to adsorb and hold onto these nutrients.

🌱 Why is supercharged biochar beneficial? 🌱

  1. Improved Nutrient Retention:The charged biochar acts as a slow-release fertiliser, preventing nutrients from leaching out of the soil and making them available to plants over time.
  2. Enhanced Soil Fertility:The added microbes and nutrients boost the overall fertility of the soil and biochar boosts the pH, leading to healthier plant growth.
  3. Increased Water Holding Capacity:Biochar can hold a significant amount of water, which is especially beneficial in dry climates and can reduce nutrient leaching.
  4. Stimulated Root Growth:The improved soil structure and nutrient availability promote stronger root development in plants.

Cookstoves in Partnership with Mimi Moto
