Welcome to WICCARE Africa Limited

WICCARE Africa is a for-profit Social Enterprise on a mission to improve energy access and economic opportunity for communities across the continent.

WICCARE Hubs bring together innovative circular economy technologies, processing multiple waste streams into affordable clean energy products.

Hubs become catalysts for local entrepreneurial activity, fostering economic growth and creating opportunities. Around our hubs, entrepreneurial ventures emerge. Through these activities and with the help of partner NGOs, we empower individuals, particularly women, with the tools and resources needed to build successful businesses and transform their lives. Host communities receive an 'energy dividend' due to the lower cost of our products compared to fossil fuels and each Hub avoids or sequesters over 25,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent every year.

At WICCARE, we believe in the transformative power of women in the cold chain, agriculture and renewable energy sectors. Our commitment to Gender Equality and Social Inclusion ( GESI) ensures that every woman has the opportunity to thrive and lead in our organization. Our community programmes with partner NGOs prioritize inclusivity, recognizing that equality drives innovation and resilience. Addressing the social and economic drivers of change, we encourage adoption and dissemination of sustainable practices across communities.
